Alex Palynchuk, President of Western Instruments, has an extensive track record in the oilfield industry and was the original inventor, developer and Patent Holder of the Corod System. Corod (now owned by Weatherford) is a Coiled Sucker Rod System used in the artificial lift of oil. Mr. Palynchuk had also licensed Coiled Rod technologies to others, with the latest being to C-Tech (now owned by Norris) who successfully compete with Corod.
Mr. Palynchuk is currently in the process of developing a new Rodless Oilwell Pumping System named Tri-Coil. The Tri-Coil System will be the greatest fundamental change in artificial lift since the development of Corod, and will eclipse the use of all Sucker Rod Systems.
